You can have each child decorate a square piece of paper. When they are
all complete, put them together to make a "quilt".

scissors, construction paper, stapler, and black paint
You can have each child make their own "quill" pen with a straw
whose tip has been cut on an angle to form the writing end (dipped in
thinned out black paint) and a construction paper feather that they cut
and can be stapled or glued to the straw. (We do this during our unit on
Colonial America)
Letter Q's and Question

Provide the children with a letter Q. Have the children draw question
marks all over the letter Q. Or cut question marks from paper and glue
them all over the letter Q.
