Need: yellow yarn, popsicle stick, bowl,
glue, wax paper
Directions: To make yellow yarn mobiles, put
white glue in an open bowl and invite the children to dip the yellow yarn
in the glue using a popsicle stick to saturate the yarn completely except
for the end the child is holding. Then have the children arrange the
yarn on waxed paper in interesting designs. Ask children to bend the
end of the yarn to use as a hanger and cut off the end they were holding
since it has no glue on it. When the glue is dry, remove the mobiles
from the waxed paper and hang them in a window or from the ceiling.

Need: paper, string, crayons
Directions:
Draw five or more stick people (or get
from clip art) on a piece of construction paper. Make sure they have a
hand sticking out. Glue 5 pieces of string to each hand. Cut
out some different colored construction paper in the shape of ovals (about
the size of a quarter). These will be yo-yo's Once the string
end pieces have dried (preferably overnight), let the kids glue on the
yo-yo's. It's fun to let them decide how the yo-yo will go - up or
down, etc. Then they can color the stick people if they want.
