Need: Yellow Baking cup, Green pipe
cleaner, scissors, crayons or markers
Directions: Give
each child a yellow baking cup, crayons, a green pipe cleaner and
scissors. Use the yellow baking cups as "flowers" and have
children draw
smiling faces on the inside of the cups. Tape the base of the
"flowers" to
the green stems (pipe cleaner). Have the children share the friendship
flowers with family members.

Need: tag board circle cutout, yellow
tissue paper pieces, yellow streamers, gold glitter, and glue.
Directions: Have
the child glue the yellow tissue paper pieces all over the circle cutout
to cover it. Then sprinkle glitter over circle. Finish by attaching the
yellow streamers to the edges to create a sun.

2-3 lemons, knife, yellow tempera paint, foam meat trays, paper
Directions: Mix
yellow tempera paint with water and place in meat trays. Cut lemons in
half using a knife. Let the children make designs on paper by dipping
lemon halves in the yellow paint.
