Thanksgiving
By Marc Brown

Arthur
is in search of a turkey in this book in the popular Marc Brown series. No
matter how many posters he has put up, ads in the school newspaper and
public address announcements he's made, Arthur just can't find one. Its not
just any turkey, but it's the most important role in the school play.
Alot of responsibility rests on the shoulders
of director Arthur. He
calls on his family to help him but receives a cold response. He is
subjected to bribery by his friends, Francine gives him 2 chocolate
cupcakes and Buster giving him his spaceman. Initially, Arthur is flattered
by Mr. Ratburn's selection of him as director. He is relieved that he won't
have to wear the turkey costume himself.
The whole cast threatens to walk out when no
turkey is found. and the performance is fast approaching. The show must go
on, so Arthur takes it upon himself to save the day.
Marc Brown does it again with this seasonal
book. Its a winner for all
Arthur fans!
