Building the Skyscraper
By Justine Korman
Review by: Yvonne
Especially for the little boys
in your life! This book is filled with pictures of trucks and machines,
from dump trucks and a mobile crane with a wrecking ball, to a pile
driver and a crane. It takes you from clearing the land and pouring the
foundation right up to the installation of the elevators that will carry
people up to the top floor. One of my sonís favorite books, this one
doesnít spend much time in our house before another little boy asks to
borrow it! The book is extremely informative as are the illustrations.
It takes you through each step of building a skyscraper and explains in
understandable detail all the processes the builders go through before
the building is completed. I would say this book is great for ages 2-8.
I had two year olds not wanting to return it to me! Doesnít your son
deserve his very own Tonka story!
