How
many times have a child's tears gone away, when they are given a kiss and a
band-aid. They are both very comforting and required for young children's
boo boos to heal.
This delightful story is about Little Bear and Big
Bear. No matter how Little Bear gets hurt through everyday activities, Big
Bear comes to the rescue with a kiss and a band-aid. Little Bear's two best
friends don't want to be friends with her anymore. Big Bear tries to kiss
even this hurt away. The next day a new friendship is formed, and Little
Bear is happy.
However, Little Bear must come to the rescue
this time because Big
Bear receives some bad news in a letter. Little Bear follows Big Bear's
example and tries to kiss it better. It takes kisses all over Big Bear's
body until a smile is seen.
This book with its cute pictures reinforce
the fact that children
learn by examples set before them. Toddlers will love to see the bear's
facial expressions. Excellent book to get that warm and fuzzy feeling!
