Twas
the night before Christmas and all through this house, not a creature
was stirring, Except for a mouse. This story is just as you would
imagine it to be, the night before Christmas, but it has a little twist.
As the illustrations will show you, Santa has a helper, and he is called
Santa Mouse.
Well why
wouldn’t the mouse stir in this story, and why shouldn’t Santa Mouse
come on the same eve as St. Nicholas! This is an adorable remake of the
old familiar tale we all grew up hearing on Christmas Eve. The pictures
in this book were made using Gouache, watercolors and colored pencils.
The detail is meticulous, Santa’s wardrobe appears to have actual fur
on it! Rich colors and friendly pictures help to make this book a favorite
at this time of the season. I recommend this book for ages 3-7. Early
readers will have a great time reading this to mom and dad, what a boost
of confidence the child receives when he realizes he already knows the
familiar words!
