Who Hoots
By Katie Davis

Review by: Lori Plach

At a relatively early age, children begin learning and imitating sounds.
Even toddlers know who hoots, buzzes, squeaks, roars and quacks. With very bright colors and simple drawings of animals, this book is sure to be a hit for very young children.
Preschoolers will giggle at the comments made by the various animals. While enjoying the repetition of the refrain, "Yes, they do," children will learn facts about owls, bees, mice, lions and ducks. In fact,
participation by listeners would add to the enjoyment of this literary
treasure.
Highly recommended for children ages 2-5. It makes little difference if
this story is read with a group or individual children, the reading of this book will be requested over and over again.
