Look What You Can Make With Egg Cartons
Edited By Betsy Ochester

Review by: Yvonne Gaudet

This book is an excellent resource for any daycare provider or preschool teacher. Exactly as the title explains, this book is jammed full of craft ideas for those egg cartons we save and donít know what to do with. Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Forth of July, spring, and winter are just a few of the many holidays and seasons covered in this book. Also covered are the following subjects; animals, containers, decorations, games, gifts, things to wear, toys, and vehicles. So many great, new and creative ideas are shown in this book, and the fact that you can take most of these ideas and alter them to your liking, makes this very much worth the money. This book was extremely helpful to me, for instance, this Easter season. We made the Easter baskets and the bunny trinket cups, and my craft supply bill was next to zero!
Recycling these egg cartons is also good for our environment, and isnít recycling a lesson we would all like to teach our children! I feel that this book would be great for parents and grandparents as well. So much of our childrenís time is wasted sitting in front of the television, instead of using their minds and being creative! This book will fill their heads with ideas and let their imaginations soar as they make beautiful crafts to be shared with all! Filled with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions, and color photographs of the finished projects, this book, edited by Betsy Ochester, will prove to be useful to anyone with children. Chase your rainy day blues away, and spend some time with your child and this book, you will not be disappointed.
I recommend this book for all ages, 0-adult, so give it a try and have fun, because there is a creative child in all of us!
