Funny Faces with Fruit added 3-3-99 Original Author Unknown

Use halved oranges in the peel. Have each child carefully scoop out the insides of the orange, draw a funny face on the outside of the orange shell with a marker and then cut up the scooped out orange into bite-sized pieces and put them back into the shell.. You can add other cut up fruits like bananas, strawberries, pineapple, etc.

Have different kinds of fruit for snack. Figs may be a new one to try!

We made blue Jell-O in individual cups and added a gummy fish - not nutritious - but yummy.
