Peanut Butter with Everything added 9-17-00 Original Author Unknown

A very simple snack is to put a teaspoon of peanut butter on a small paper plate along with several different kinds of raw vegetables.... carrots, celery, lettuce, squash, cauliflower, etc. Have the children dip the vegetables in the peanut butter and eat, we like to discuss the different tastes, whether or not they like the different tastes, etc...

Peanut Butter added 1-19-01 Original Author Unknown

You will need one bag of roasted peanuts in the shell, salt, sugar, peanut or vegetable oil and a food processor or blender.  Show children how to crack open the shells and remove the skins from around the peanuts.  When all of the peanuts are shelled, put them in the food processor.  As you grind the peanuts, gradually add oil until the mixture is smooth.  Stir in salt  and sugar to taste.
