Snacks : Spiders

Spider Snacks added 5-27-99 Original Author Unknown

Give each child a chocolate donut and 8 pretzel sticks, have children put pretzels on sides of donut for legs.


Spiders added 8-11-00 Original Author Unknown

Need: 2 round crackers, 2 tsp. Peanut butter, 8 small stick pretzels, 2 raisins

Directions:
1. Make a "cracker sandwich" with the peanut butter
2. Stick the pretzel "legs" in the middle of the sandwich.
3. Stick the raisin "eyes" on top with just a dab of peanut butter.
4. There you have it! A perfectly creepy snack


Marshmallow spiders added 7-21-01 Original Author Unknown

Need:
large marshmallows, m &m's, string licorice, chocolate syrup

Directions: Cut licorice into 2'' pieces, poke 8 pieces of string licorice into each marshmallow for legs, pour chocolate syrup over marshmallow, add m & m's for eyes.

Need:
Ritz cracker, peanut butter or cheese spread, pretzel sticks

Directions: Spread a Ritz cracker with peanut butter or cheese spread. Add pretzels
for legs.

Need:
macaroni, mozzarella cheese


Directions: Make macaroni with mozzarella cheese, when warm the cheese pulls and we called it spider webs.


Silly Spider Sandwiches added 9-16-02 Original Author Unknown

Need:
2 slices of bread ( use raisin bread!), 1 T Strawberry cream cheese, 8 Raisins or red hots, 8 stick Pretzels, 1 piece of black string licorice (about 4 inches long), 1 paper plate, 1 plastic knife, Measuring spoons, round biscuit cutter

Directions: Cut bread into circles with biscuit cutter. Measure and spread cream cheese on one piece of bread. Place the other bread circle on top. Put the 8 raisins or red hots on the top piece of bread for eyes. Place 4 pretzels coming out of each side for legs. Add licorice string at the top to look like your spider's drag line.
