teacher starts and says, "My name is _________." she then
hands the ball to the child next to her and prompts them to say their

rolls the ball to the other teacher and says, "My name is _________

As the children are sitting for circle time, have one child put a small
blanket over their head and the group pats their legs as they sing...
Who's that hiding underneath that blanket, repeat, repeat, come out and
tell us your name. The child pulls the blanket off and tells everyone
their name. Then that child puts the blanket on someone else and
repeat.
