Penny Toss added 1-25-00 Original Author Unknown

Arrange 5-10 clear plastic tumblers in a small circle on the floor. Write numbers on masking tape and stick on each tumbler to indicate points. Draw or tape a line 61 away from the tumblers. (The distance depends on the age and abilities of the class.) The players sit behind the line and attempt to toss pennies into the tumblers. Scores may be tallied for individuals or teams.

Big Coins added 1-3-01 Original Author Unknown

I put giant coins on the floor and march around them to music. When the music
stops the students have to pick up the coin in front of them and try and match
it to a friend's coin. It is good for learning the names of coins as well as
the presidents on them.
