Nervousness, awkwardness and fear are normal feelings that all new parents experience when it comes to raising their beautiful helpless newborns. Babies do not come with their own manuals on how to properly care for them, and some parents feel anxious that they are not doing what is the best for their
children. Some men find it extremely hard to show their true feelings of love, for their children, which is why this CD is such an enjoyable collection of music to listen to. Lanny has no problem in sharing his love of children throughout this beautiful CD Although these babies do not come with directions, Lanny reveals to the listener that as a father, he experienced the same feelings of insecurity that others are experiencing, and this is normal. Written by Lanny Sherwin, with vocals by Gene Miller these beautiful, peaceful, love filled songs will soothe even the fussiest babies off to dream
land. As a mother listening to this CD for the first time, I realized that my husband also portrayed the same feelings of helplessness, and insecurity when handling and holding our babies. So maybe they do pretend to know what they are doing, I am sure every mother has felt the same way, but to hear a mans' thoughts and wishes for their little ones gave me a renewed outlook on the special relationship between father and child. I had thought I would never hear another CD as beautifully written as volume one, but I was wrong! Dream With me Tonight Volume 2 : A Father's Lullabies, is by far an exceptional collection of songs full of honesty, hopes and dreams for little ones world wide. I have played these song over and over again and each time I have been brought to tears. I can not put into words, the powerful message that is heard in each song, about a father's love. I always thought that a mothers love was the greatest love in the world but now I feel I have been mistaken!
From songs about frogs and teddy bears, to dreams and rainbows, the songs in this CD are truly awe-inspiring. My favorite songs include "You & Me & the Moon", "Love Someone", "The Key of Love", and "Rainbow in My Heart ". A total of eleven beautiful heartfelt songs, and four instrumental versions make this CD a definite worthwhile purchase. If you enjoyed volume one you are sure to love the second volume of Dream with me Tonight. If you have never heard a man sing so strongly about his feelings, this CD is for you! Do not pass this opportunity up, you won't regret it!
