About the author:
Yvonne Gaudet's life has always revolved around children. For the past ten
years she has operated a daycare center with a full preschool program from
her home in Barrie, Ontario. She has two beautiful children, Alexandria
(ten years old), and Edmund (seven years old), and knows the importance of
reading to children at a young age. Her husband of eleven years, Karl, was
amazed with the idea that Alexandria was reading at a grade five level in
grade two! Edmund is following in the same footprints! " Reading from
birth on is great for young children," Yvonne was quoted in saying,
