And he planes and he measures (Bend fingers of one hand
and move down other arm)
And he hammers and he saws (hammer and saw as before)
While he builds a house for me (form a house shape with
arms bent at elbows)

caterpillar crawling all about.
He worked and he worked without a doubt.

Wrapping himself in a snug cocoon.
Waiting and waiting, will it be soon?

Look, he's coming out, my oh my!
For now he's become a beautiful butterfly.
