Pudding Painting

Need: Pudding and paper

Directions: Mix up several batches of instant pudding. Give each child a piece of paper. Put some pudding on there paper and let them finder pudding paint.

Polk-a-dot P's added 4-21-02 Original Author Unknown

Need: Paper and buttons, paint, stickers, or bingo blotters

 Prepare a P for each child to cut out and decorate with polk-a-dots. Use
buttons, paints,  stickers, bingo blotters, etc...

Split Pea Letter P added 4-21-02 Original Author Unknown

Need: paper, scissors, dried split peas, crayons and glue

Cut letter P's from paper. Then have the children glue on dried split peas.

P Collage added 4-21-02 Original Author Unknown

Need: paper plate, collage material that starts with letter P, and glue

paper plate collage using things that begin with the letter P. Ex. pink and purple tissue paper, popcorn, peanuts, etc...

Need: pink and/or purple paint, paint brushes, and paper

Paint with pink and purple on paper

Popsicle Puzzle added 4-21-02 Original Author Unknown

Need: popsicle sticks, masking tape, markers

Have the children line up popsicle sticks (line them up side by side, forming a rectangle) and use masking tape to tape them together. Write the children's name on each stick and turn the sticks over so you can not see the tape. Then they can color a picture on the popsicle sticks. When finished, they take the tape off,
 mix up the sticks, and have the children do their puzzle. The children can even exchanging puzzles with friends. If a piece drops, it's easily returned since the
children's names are on each popsicle sticks!
