I'll Always Love You
By Hans Wilhelm

Review by: Ellen Dragonetti

Every child has experienced the pain of the loss of a beloved pet, and now there is a wonderful book that can help ease the pain. I'll Always Love You tells the simple love story of a boy and his dog and how the natural death of the dog affects the child.
Hans Wilhelm effectively blends story and pictures to capture your heart. Children and adults, and every age in between-can relate to this timeless tale. After her death it helps the little boy to know that while his pet was alive, he always told her, " I'll always love you..". A lesson for the living for sure, something we can all apply to our own lives. What better lesson to pass on to our own children??
Simple yet heartfelt, I'll Always Love You warms a saddened heart and even allows a few much needed tears to fall-a story to keep and pass on to your children, for their children.
