The Children's Book of Virtues
By: William J. Bennett
Illustrated by: Michael Hague

Review by: Robin Hatfield

William J. Bennett has done a tremendous job of assembling a storybook  for families to share. You can introduce your child to stories and poems  showing examples of traits we are all trying to instill, from perseverance,
self-discipline, compassion, faith, honesty and friendship. These are
classic stories generations have grown up hearing.
Some stories included are  The Little Red Hen, The Honest Disciple, Kindness to Animals, The Little  Hero of Holland, Little Sunshine and more than a dozen more. I like these  short, meaningful stories at any time during the day. Even the youngest  children without long attention spans will benefit from this book. It is a  great way to share those special moments together!
